Every personal site starts with a post explaining itself, and most of those posts age badly. This one tries to stay useful by being a contract instead of an announcement.

What belongs here

Two kinds of things: essays — long-form notes on AI, automation, learning, and building software — and projects, which live on the portfolio page with real links and honest status badges. Essays here are living documents: they get revised when the thinking changes, and revisions show up in the changelog rather than being silently rewritten.

The rules

  1. Every essay carries its metadata in the open: created date, modified date, reading time, tags.
  2. Nothing ships without a one-line summary that would survive being read out of context.
  3. When a project dies, its card says so. Archived is a status, not a shame.

The unit of publishing is not the post but the revision. A site that can't change its mind in public is just a very slow feed.

That's the contract. The changelog will keep score.
